What kind of skills to you need for a green career? To help you understand this, UK based professional membership body, the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment (IEMA) has summarised this into a skills map – a result of several years of work in the field.
It outlines this for various levels – Graduate entry, Operational, Specialist, Managerial and Leadership roles.
Competencies are identified as:
